Product Introduction
Welding Machine Cable (YH Cable) Product Description (Condensed Version)
Welding machine cable (YH cable), also known as high-strength rubber-sheathed welding machine cable and commonly referred to as welding torch cable, has insulation made of natural rubber or CPE material.
Key features:
1. Extreme flexibility (most prominent feature): The conductor is stranded from a large number (hundreds or even thousands) of ultra-fine oxygen-free copper wires. This ensures excellent conductivity of the core and the safety of the cable, allowing it to be easily bent and twisted like a rope for welders to drag and operate at any angle.
2. Durable sheath: Natural rubber or synthetic rubber blends are used for both insulation and sheathing. It is heat-resistant, wear-resistant, and protects against scalding from splashed welding spatter. The outer sheath can withstand the inevitable friction and high-temperature spatter during welding operations.
3. High current capacity: Designed to transmit the high current required for welding, it features a high-purity conductor with low resistance to ensure welding efficiency. The oxygen-free copper wires further guarantee excellent core conductivity and cable safety.
Core application scope:
1. Connecting welding machines to welding torches (fundamental and primary use): One end of the cable is connected to the output terminal of the welding machine, and the other end to the welding torch.
2. Connecting welding machines to ground clamps: A welding circuit requires two cables. Another YH cable is used to connect the other output terminal of the welding machine to the ground clamp (for clamping the workpiece).
YH cable is irreplaceable for these core applications. Using ordinary cables (such as YC rubber-sheathed cables or stiffer alternatives) will lead to operational inconvenience, internal cable breakage, and a sharp reduction in service life.
