YJV is a widely used power cable with cross-linked polyethylene insulation and polyvinyl chloride sheath.
• YJ: Insulation material is cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
"Cross-linking" is a chemical or physical treatment process that forms chemical bonds between polyethylene molecular chains to create a three-dimensional network structure.
Advantages: It greatly enhances polyethylene's heat resistance, wear resistance and mechanical strength. Its long-term allowable operating temperature increases from 70℃ of ordinary polyethylene to 90℃, and it can withstand a maximum temperature of 250℃ in case of short circuit.
• V: Sheath material is polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
The sheath is the outermost protective layer of the cable.
Advantages: It features good mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, flame retardancy and certain toughness, which can protect the internal structure of the cable from external damage and corrosion.
With excellent performance, YJV cables are widely applied in power transmission and distribution systems with rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and below. Specific application scenarios include:
Fixed Installation (Primary Application Method)
It is suitable for:
• Construction projects: Used as the main and branch power distribution cables in buildings, residential buildings, commercial complexes, etc., laid in cable trays, trenches, pipes or walls.
• Industrial plants and mines: For power distribution and equipment connection in factories, mines and power stations.
• Tunnels and metro systems: Applied in power supply systems of urban rail transit and underground tunnels.
• Power grid systems: Used in the renovation and construction of urban power grids.
Applicable Environments
• Suitable for indoor areas, tunnels, cable trenches and similar locations.
• It can bear a certain laying traction force, but not applicable to occasions subject to mechanical external forces.
